Market going a great deal higher in 2020 but ...

I am feeling really quite bullish about the UK equity market, as judged by the performance of the FTSE 100 index.

I see it easily shooting through the 8,000 level before the end of the year and even higher.

However, it is very sensible to anticipate a pull back fairly soon.

The rise after Boris Johnson won the General Election has almost electrified the market and many stocks appear to have released the brakes on their prices.

But it is sensible to remember that nothing goes in a straight line forever - love, sex, bank accounts, share prices - they all go up and down.
