Not many, perhaps if just a few, companies have seen their shares more than quadruple in the last year; however, Filtronic (LON:FTC) has certainly done that, having risen from 114p last September.
After hitting 480p at one stage last week, its shares fell back quite considerably to close the week at 379p, but still continued to show the other portfolio constituents a very clean pair of heels, having put on a very useful 161.38% advance in just 42 trading days.
Runner-up in performance was Ramsdens Holdings (LON:RFX), showing a healthy 27.94% advance in the short time frame since inception.
Elsewhere within the Portfolio, now at 487.50p, Ashtead Technology (LON:AT.) is 25.00% up and looking slightly 'toppy' before possibly easing back to trade the 450p-to- 470p range, ahead of then yet another upwards push.
The shares of SRT Marine Systems (LON:SRT) look ready for some more good news, up 13.46% at 88.50p.
Yet another profits upgrade saw Currys (LON:CURY) up 12.73%, closing the week at 144.30p
Overall, the SQC Research Market Recovery Portfolio is up 21.66% over the last 42 Trading Days, whilst the FTSE100 Index is up a mere 5.52% in the same period of time.
