Mark Watson-Mitchell - 01.12.2025

This time last Pantheon Resources (LON:PANR), the British oil and gas exploration group, published its Final Results for the year to end-June, so it is fair to assume that the Alaska-focussed specialist is due to do similar this year.

And what a year it has experienced since last December.

Despite a number of fund-raising and notable corporate issues in 2025, I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed by the group's out of date website.

Considering the massive fees that the business is paying out to its 'advisers' globally, that really is a shame and actually displays something of a disregard for its ever-funding shareholders.

However, the excitement for the group is now very much centred upon the North Slopes of Alaska, in particular its progress its latest Dubhe-1 well, for which an increased newsflow was predicted.

I note that analyst Daniel Slater, at Zeus Capital, has "a positive outlook for the shares, and values them in-line with our 74p total risked NAV."

About Pantheon Resources

The company is focused on developing its 100% owned Ahpun and Kodiak fields located on State of Alaska land on the North Slope, onshore USA.

Independently certified best estimate contingent recoverable resources attributable to these projects currently total c. 1.6 billion barrels of ANS crude and 6.6 Tcf of associated natural gas.

The Company owns 100% working interest in c. 259,000 acres.

My View

This stock remains a real gambling counter until better and more frequent news issued about its various assets and areas of operation.

The shares are currently just 25.70p.
