The star performer position in the has changed in a quite dramatic fashion.
Almost from the start, some 82 market days ago in late March, Filtronic (LON:FTC) was the outright portfolio leader, with its shares rising from 145p to a top of 485p - a quite staggering performance, helped somewhat by the mega-IPO of the SpaceX group over in the States.
However, the expression 'what goes up must come down' prevailed to see FTC now at 245p, but still up nearly 69%.
The financial services group Ramsdens (LON:RFX) has succumbed to the second more alluring cash bid from the US-based FirstCash pawnbroking group, helping to shoot its shares up over 95% to the current 664p.
Further down the list comes Currys (LON:CURY) up 24.61%, then Costain (LON:COST) up 18.08%, and Chemring (LON:CHG) some 14.85% better.
Overall, the portfolio is up a market-beating 24.93% over the last 82 market days.
