James Cropper (LON:CRPR) – watch this one closely

Yesterday morning, upon the publication of the paper and advanced materials group declaring its 2025 results, I had the opportunity to chat with David Stirling, the group’s new CEO.

Stirling spent 27 years at Zotefoams (LON:ZTF) and showed significant success in his CEO role, before taking the helm at the Kendal-based group earlier this year.

He has a job on his hands in pulling the 180 years-old group backed around from losses into profitability.

The results and accompanying statements helped to push the £24m-capitalised group’s shares up nearly 10% to 255p.

I like the story, and I will await further corporate progress before preparing a Profile on the company.
